Great >What a fantastic reminder of possibly the greatest soul venue of it’s era (sorry to the NW) but it was “Forps”as we called it in s.london that always did it for me. That stomping to World Colum could not have sounded like that anywhere else

Fantastic, Superb takes yer right back in there. I did`nt miss a night for months so i know i was there that night. How good did The Zoo sound, and Wombat, The High Keyes. Great stuff, brought a tear to my eye. Instrumentals?…… the dogs bollocks. The hand-clapping to Footsie, Javells and Tainted Love was probably only beaten on the night by The Jades. You don`t have Richards spot as well do ya?!?! Cheers.

great stuff Pete, brings back the memories. September 1974 was I there, probably. Little Joe Roman and Wombat, favourite tracks then and they still are. I know where you are coming from about some of the tracks but who didn’t like the Javells or Footsie back in 74′ massive sounds that filled the floor if I remember rightly. This tape is absoulutley full of atmosphere, many thanks for sharing these memories,

That’s inspired me no end. Took me back to a time when everything seemed simple & uncomplicated, though perhaps it wasn’t. I’ve been debating (spanglish) between laughs & tears throughout. I wouldn’t mind a track listening. The instrumentals still sound bloody good & even the stuff that people today scoff at sounds quite valid. I think we’ve lost the plot. I can only say thanks very much Pete.
